Lancaster Place is a historic neighborhood of approximately 200 households located in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood. Bounded by West Alabama Street to the north, Richmond Avenue to the south, Woodhead Street to the west, and Mandell Street to the east, Lancaster Place is well situated with proximity to the Medical Center, Rice University, the Museum District, and downtown Houston.

In addition, there is a wealth of schools, churches, libraries, fine restaurants, entertainment venues, lovely neighborhoods and city parks, both large and small, within walking or biking distance of Lancaster Place. All points of central city living are within our compass. In 2009, Montrose was named one of the top ten urban neighborhoods in the United States by the American Planning Association; and Lancaster Place is proud to be an integral part of that whole.
